How Do I Find That Darn Item?
Get ready to save some time because we added some shortcuts for you to find the needed invoice or estimate. Invoice “ABC123” you say? No problem – just type in to the filter under Invoice Id from the Invoices section and the item you were looking for is going to show up in full pride.
Just as an added bonus, for all those hard working bees out there – we’ve added pagination to be nicer to your mouse’s “scrolling thingy”.
One Client, Two Projects
Maybe you are doing some work for your client and it isn’t just for one project but for two, or even some more. You can finally rejoice because with the added Projects tab, every client can have multiple projects. Invoices are assigned to a client/project combination which means you can track your work per project or per client – or in any way you feel easier.
If you so happen to need to bill multiple currencies – every project has its currency option. So you can assign billable currency onto a project, and that currency will be used for all invoices under that project.
Projects also have activities, which are used for yet another exciting feature we’ve just released – Time Logging. More on that later.
Tracking Time Never Simpler
If you are keeping track on how long each project is taking, billing your client by hour or just want to document your progress day by day – Time Tracking functionality is finally here. We’ve added ability to save time in a weekly view allowing to save down time for client/project, activity and description. When you’re ready – track your time in an easily organized view screen or simply import the time into the client invoice.
My Emails, My Way
Ready to spice up your client invoice notification or payment reminder? You can finally change the text on nearly all emails within BillGrid to your liking. Check out newly redesigned Email Defaults section where you’ll find extra customization options.
If you’d like to setup additional reminders about overdue invoices that are sent to you or your client – you can add them in the same Email Defaults screen. Get notified before invoice is due in person, or send additional follow ups when invoice hasn’t been paid for a week or month – you choose!
